I got real tired of the straight look real quick…so I washed it out. lol Fortunately, my curls came right back and I did not suffer from any heat damage! (Thanks to the organic root stimulator olive oil heat protection serum!) I’ll definitely attempt at 1.5  or 2 years but for now, its not quite at the length I would like. Also, I need to invest in a better straightener to get it as sleek as I would like. Future questions for next time though:

What are good straighteners that are not too rough on the hair? (and preferably not too expensive lol)

What are the best heat protection products out?

Is a serum better than a spray or vice versa and why?

Any techniques to get the hair as striaght as possible?

If anyone has some good answers, feel free to message me or respond here! (if thats possible? so not really familiar with how tumblr works… a shame I know)

A few days ago (May 8th) was 10 months !! Time goes by so so quickly :) :)

Anyways…since then I have taken SO many photos and done some much stuff with my hair but, i was too lazy to post lol. I finally was able to color my hair and I am just LOVING it. I also was able to blow it out and flatiron, which I am not enjoying so much:/. I think one of the main problems is, I was so scared of heat damage that I didn’t really use  a lot of heat to get it as straight as I would like. Next time I flatiron it, I will try to be more “adventurous”.  

Whatever the case may be,this post is just going to be an overload of pictures with short explanations. Enjoy!

I haven’t shown my tumblr any love :(.

but the good news is…Spring Break is arriving so i’ll definitely be doing length checks, and show hairs styles ive tried as well :)…My hair has gotten to the length where I can play with it a lot more so I’m superrr excited. Its slowly approaching one year! 

Also, Rutgers is having its first Natural Hair Convention and I definitely plan on going. Maybe I’ll take some pics and post them up :)
